We drilled a hole to mount the resistors on the inner sheet metal of the bed behind the tail light. Since resistors get hot mounting them directly to the metal will act as a heat sink to help keep them from getting too hot.
We mounted the resistors with the provided sheet metal screws.
We used the provided wiretaps and spade connectors to install the resistors in line with the bulbs, no more fast flash!
