The bulbs push in. LED bulbs have polarity so they needed to be checked by turning them on. If they turn on, the polarity is ok. If not simply flip the bulb around and they should turn right on. We did the amber turn signal bulbs first.
Next, we installed the more powerful reverse lights, The stock lights are something like 200 lumens, the replacements are 1000 lumens. This should help when backing up at night.
We installed the reverse bulbs and checked the polarity. Then we reassembled the taillights and reinstalled them.
Next, we replaced the license plate lights with these LED lights.
