SEMA ETC:

Dai's BRZ Dai Yoshihara’s Suburu BRZ at the Falken booth will have a turbo V8 when competing in the 2014 FD season.
Falkenstein The “Falkenstein”, Falken’s 911 GT3 RSR driven by Wolf Henzler, Bryan Sellers, and Martin Ragginger, took the win at the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta and displayed in all its lawn-mowing glory.

GMC CoeGMC Coe This 1954 GMC Coe was built from the ground up in 10 days.  The straight six motor was built by Industrial Injection and features a Cummins single turbo making 450bhp.  The truck is bagged on 20’s with a dual rear end and was fabricated by Welderup using items from the Jon Stearns Fruit Farm.
Synapse no drone resonator Synapse Engineering No-Drone resonator system uses a Helmholtz style resonator welded to the side of the exhaust pipe. The chamber length and placement can be calculated specifically to the application to reduce or eliminate the resonance. The exhaust gases flow down the main column with some of it entering the resonator and bouncing back out of phase to cancel out low frequency noise. It doesn’t lower exhaust volume but changes the tone so you don’t have that annoying drone sound. Wicked cool, underused concept!

Double Down 1932 Roadster The “Double Down” Fuller Hot Rods all wheel drive 1932 Ford Roadster was featured in the Jet Rock Ceramic Coatings booth and will be used for drag racing, autocross, road racing, and possibly a trip to Bonneville.
inside of roadsterfuller roadster The car is obviously still under construction and I’d assume a seat will end up somewhere in this bare metal body.  Fuller’s Hot Rods engineered the open wheel suspension.  The wheelbase is 3” longer than stock with an almost 80” track width.  The Jon Kaase Racing built Boss 429 engine with billet crank pushes output to almost 800hp.  A quick change axle powers the front wheels through a custom transfer case built to adapt around the engine.  They are hoping to start testing by Spring 2014.
