The Tilton top hung pedal assembly is super trick, it contains a balance bar for adjusting brake bias. Almost out of site are the hydraulic valves controlled by the Motec that operate the car’s race ABS system. The ABS system is more like an anti flat spot system that allows close to full lock. |
The Tilton fluid reservoir and the lines leading to the control valves. The low mounted radiator means you need a high mounted swirl pot/ surge tank to make sure all the bubbles can be purged out of the cooling system. |
They don’t mess around with huge floating rotors and Alcon calipers. The BBS forged 3 piece wheels are center lock type for one nut fast wheel changes. |
Brake badassness. Note the threaded tube from the hub for the single lug nut for the center lock wheels. The things that look like wheel studs are actually drive pins for the wheel. The sticker on the caliper is a temp label. It changes color to indicate what temperature the part it’s placed on got to during operation. |
Centerlock BBS wheels and Toyo Proxes 888R tires that SCCA mandates as the spec tire for World Challenge. |
Air jacks are cool if you can afford them, they make a big difference in pit stops and regular maintenance. |
