Sneak Peek: BAC Mono at Sector 111

,

Shifting is handled by the flappy paddles behind the steering wheel. The wheel has buttons for turn signals, head lights, high beams, a horn… See, it’s perfectly streetable!
It’s a bit of a shame the pedal assembly and front bulkhead are hidden down in the footwell. Check out the CNC machining on the bulkhead. The BAC Mono is so streetable, there’s even a dead pedal in there. The spacing between the throttle and brake pedals looks more generous than a Lotus Elise from what I recall; though you’ll probably still want some narrow driving shoes to avoid overlap of the pedals.
You can see just how much air flows through the bodywork.
The suspension control arms are exposed in the airflow.
There is this interesting winglet in the flow channel between the central bodywork and the wheel. I’m guessing it may function as a vortex generator to help control the airflow downstream towards the rear of the car.
The inboard mounted, pushrod actuated, front dampers are exposed by the bodywork. Is there any functional purpose to being exposed? Not sure… but it looks cool.
