,
I loved the anodized look of the mirror. It has cool little design elements like the recess for the ‘Nissan’ and the stylized cap thingy on the nose of the mirror cone. Not exactly functional, but it looks neat. What does look more functional is the mounting arm for the mirror which has an aerodynamic profile to it.
Here’s one more look at the vented hood and mirrors.
Does it really do anything? In this case, I’m going to say it’s just for looks as I don’t see much of a profile nor an angle of attack to it. I almost want to say it will have a negative impact on drag because the airflow will try to stay attached to the lower surface of the roof wing instead of following the rear window down thereby creating a larger wake zone and drag. But hey, I’m mostly just speaking out of my butt so if anyone can do a better analysis, feel free to comment!
Yeah… not much to see underneath the car.
The rear bumper is neatly shaped. A Euro-style rear rain light is integrated. Again, more strap-down metal loops
