Is the engine bay of the red Z clean enough for you? Every single spring and linkage on the carbs was perfectly clean.
This car speaks to a generation where people actually worked on their own cars. Though, they really only wanted you messing with the idle screws and not so much the emissions and carburetor balancing screws without consulting the manual.
Anybody know what this thing does? It appears to be some sort of air bypass valve, but I don’t understand why it would be different between winter and summer.

The stars have aligned when there is also an SR20DE under the hood. The next upgrade will be a SR20VE bumping the power up from about 150whp to 210whp or so. That is about the same power as my S2000 in a car that weighs about 1000lbs less. Yeah… it’ll be fun.
