The other high-powered BMW in the crowd belongs to Chelsea Denofa.
Denofa also has a GTX3582R hiding in the engine bay pumping the engine over 700whp. It’s hung off a Technica Motorsport exhaust manifold. He also has plans to upgrade to a GTX4088R because 700whp is just so last year.
One guy who does have a GTX4088R? Ryan Tuerck.
The GTX4088R on the 3.4L 2JZ is putting out about 100whp more than the pair of BMWs on the GTX3582Rs. No wonder Essa and Denofa are upgrading… Of note however, Tuerck stepped DOWN in turbo size from a GTX4294R. Response trumps power sometimes.
Ken Gushi saw what Tuerck was doing and decided to follow suit.
Out with the small flat-4 and in with the 3.4L 2JZ with GTX4088R. You can see the host of Greddy parts but what you can’t see is the inside of the head worked over by Portflow.
