Team America World Time Attack – ARK Design’s BNR32 Skyline GT-R Part 4

Kyong goes to town prepping the interior for paint by grinding the old paint off with an angle grinder.  He was at it all night, poor bastard.
Eric cuts some alloy plate in a floor shear to build some alloy hinge doublers for the fiberglass doors.
Since Eric swiss cheesed the hinges to save a pound, it makes sense to fab the doublers out of aluminum.  Eric cuts them by hand on a band saw.
Since my degree is in deburring engineering, I think I am deburring the doublers and truing them up here.
Meanwhile Tyler Hara starts to fit the doors as we get the hinges ready.
To make JDMized happy and to clear the roll cage tubes we cut away the inner door panel.  Since we are not running window regulators who needs this stuff anyway.
