Tesla Model S P100D – Lowering Links On Titan 7 T-S5 Wheels Wrapped With Nitto Tires

We experimented with two Nitto tire models and sizes to give our readers insight on proper fitment and overall feedback for the Model S, with the first set featuring the Nitto Invo 255/35/19 and the second set featuring the Nitto NT555 G2 255/40/19.

The Nitto Invo is an ultra-high performance tire that provides a mixture of performance, ride comfort, and quality.  To enhance acceleration, handling, and braking, the Invo features strengthened blocks to reduce tread flex by using a Silica-reinforced tread compound.  To increase dry performance stability, braking, and cornering, you need to increase road contact, so the inner and outer shoulder is made of large, reinforced tread blocks to increase contact patch.  The solid center rib provides constant contact with the road for rigidity and stability, helping you stay connected with the road under hard braking and acceleration.  Twin circumferential grooves help route water away for great wet performance. The Nitto Invo 255/35/19 weighs in at 26.08 lbs.

      1. I’m on desktop, also not a fan of the picture setup. Makes it too easy to blow by the majority of the pictures. Content is top notch as always though!

  1. The sprung/unsprung weight ratio on this car is tremendous. There’s no reason that you should not be able to get some decent ride quality, although I wonder if the stock air suspension would need some tweaking. I have heard that the stock car suffers in the damping department.
