The OEM top mount is removed from the stock shocks to be reused on the KW DDC shock. 
The KW spring and the adjustable ride height spring seat are put into place and the lower control arm jacked up so the shock can be installed. 
Once the spring is compressed, the shock can be bolted into place. It is easy to get the KW spring in place because it is shorter than stock.
The KW DDC shock is installed. The BMW upper mount is good because you can remove the bolts from the bottom and not have to disassemble the car's interior to access the bolts. 
The rear suspension is installed and ready for the next step.
