The CSF Evo X: The Road to Global Time Attack 2020 – Part 6: All Systems Go

 

With two weeks left before Global Time Attack Finals 2020, the #CSFevoX makes its way to World Motorsports to get strapped onto their state-of-the-art wind tunnel dyno. Wayne Potts, head Syvecs tuner for the USA, flies in to SoCal from Texas to work alongside Jon from 5150 Racing to dial in the tuning before heading to Buttonwillow Raceway with the full crew, and Michael Essa behind the wheel, for our first track test day. Tuning is done through the Syvecs S8 ECU. Wayne and Jon put the #CSFevoX through it’s paces with several different types of unconventional rolling road test normally not seeing, including shifting calibration, throttle response calibration, heat soak testing, boost by gear calibration through the wheel speed sensors, custom Aim Performance digital dash setup by Jon at 5150 Racing, and some “full-send” dyno pulls with max horsepower reaching 720whp on the AWD Mustang Dyno. The 4B11T engine, built by MotoIQ, combined with the wild turbo kit by Sheepey Race makes for some awesome fire works on the dyno. 720 AWHP / 534 AWTQ on AWD Mustang Dyno
