And this Ferrari learned the lesson the hard way as the passenger side launched off the aggressive curbing placed inside the turns. Luckily, it did not suffer much damage.
And it was also Bruno Senna’s first race with a top finish in class. The Brazilian and co-driver Frédéric Makowiecki stayed within the top 3 in class through the entire race, and remained in the lead for the last 2 hours. Brazilian fans were thrilled and ran to the fence with flags as he crossed the finish line.
Burno Senna's Aston Martin had special livery for this race, using the Valero gas station colors.
