The Dominator Evo definitely lived up to its name on Saturday. It was smooth sailing for James Willard since no one in the Open Class would even come close to the 1:30.7260 he set in the Dominator Evo 6 on Friday. Looks like someone may be ready to step their game up to the Pro Class. Congratulations to the entire Dominator Evo team! |
All that sweet aero the Chasers Motorworks' Evo 6 was sporting was not good enough to catch the Dominator Evo, but the team was able to shave almost a full second off their Friday lap times. Their 1:33.4840 gave them a solid second place finish. |
Coming in third place in the Open Class is the Hankook Morpowa (gotta love the name) Mazda FD RX7 with a time of 1:34.0910. |
The competition in the Open Class was very tight – four cars were in the 34's! The fourth best time overall belonged to Andrew Sutton and his Nissan S15. This exquisite S15 clocked in at 1:34.2750. |
R. Bates and the V-Sport Evo X were not able to improve on the 1:34.3470 they set on Friday, but the time was still good enough to land them in the top 5 in class. |
