The old Crawford Performance STI made an appearance in the hands of new owners.
Cody Miles in his Garrett turbo powered and Air Lift Suspension suspended car ran a 2:24.093 for 6th. Cody did the OEM hood venting mod which I’m all for as the stock STI hood is nice and light.
Phil Grabow with Element Tuning earned 4th in Unlimited with a 2:17.077. Yup, that’s a LS swap into an FRS and it’s damn fast. The FA20 is kinda fragile, like 13B rotaries….
This S2000 driven by Jesse Selinsky put down a 2:31.785.
What caught my eye was the Garrett G25-660 turbo. It looks to have a PTP turbo blanket on the turbine housing to protect the valve cover from excessive heat.
An Evo!!! Back in the day, there were many more Evo time attack cars. I guess they are all hard parkers now? This one was driven by Earl Zimmerman to a 2:31.198 in Limited. I believe the Camaro ZL1 was wheeled by Brian Tyson to 3rd in Street with a time of 2:26.654. The ZL1 is a legit track machine straight from the dealer. Look at all the attention paid to cooling with the front bumper openings and the splitter and canards for aero.
