Edo on the Dyno
Looks like the guys at Road Race stopped by an elementary once to show kids their possibilities if they do well in school. I got stock cars, these kids got to see a road racing car. Life can be cruel.

You know, either these guys have a bit too much free time on their hands or Tony Stark comes by more often than not.

Tony Stark was able to build this in a cave! With a box of scraps! Well, technically, Obadiah would be right this time. I think it's nearly all Mitsubishi parts that have no more use anymore.

Well, one of the benefits of taking a self-guided shop tour is being able to see what you want, when you want. I got a sneak preview of what the RRE Dynapack Dyno was capable of recording and some of the tuning magic that Mike Welch is the master of.

This particular car is fueled by E85, which RRE sells and installs kits to make nearly any car run on it. It offers better octane than race gas offers and a cooler flame but at half the cost and that is why many turbo and high compression cars run it. E85 comes at a cost to fuel economy though, as it takes nearly 30% more fuel to burn when compared to gasoline. Water injection has come on the forefront of power modifiers, so I wonder how long E85 will hold its reign on “cheap thrills.”

Oh, and E85 still booms out of the exhaust like race gas, too. I offer this as evidence. Nothing like flame burping out of any exhaust on any car, unless it's stock then you've got some serious issues.
