Event Coverage: The Octoberbeast Toyota Employee Car Show

,

This particular 1965 Tiger has a Boss 302 stroker under the bonnet. The car only weighs around 2600lbs, so there’s a lot of horsepower to motivate the weight.
I am not sure I’d go cruising in a Daytona Cobra Coupe, but it sure as hell looks like a lot of fun to romp on.
Individual throttle bodies and Weber carbs sit on top of the 392 Ford Motorsports engine. It’s good for 425hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.
I love the simplicity of the front end of the car. Angled radiator ducted to the hood vent, upper and lower A-arms for the suspension, coilovers, and that’s about it.
Perhaps my favorite car at the show was this 1970 AMC AMX.
The engine is a freakin’ NASCAR engine from Bobby Allison. The burnt exhaust dumps out the side exhausts ahead of the massive Hoosier slicks required to maintain traction.
