| Next on Toshiki Yoshioka's V8 list was Tyler McQuarrie. The Garrett Turbo V6 tried desperately to take down the V8 Camaro after going straight on his lead run. However, he pushed too hard and hit the rear clipping zone and crashed his car. The RS-R Silvia was done and McQuarrie moved on. |

| Ken Gushi in the Greddy FR-S powered by a Greddy Turbo was able to keep up and all over the Hankook Camaro of Conrad Grunewald, however the correction made at the front clipping point just after the rear clipping zone made it easy for Grunewald to win. With a great lead run done, Grunewald moved on. |

| Vaughn Gittin, Jr, wants a 2012 Championship. His driving and consistancy since Round 3 have shown that he has found what was missing in 2011 and the beginning of this year. His NASCAR V8 powered Monster Energy Mustang pulled ahead of Luke Lonberger in the Hankook Corvette and on to the Great 8. |

| Chelsea Denofa in the Nitto Tires Mazda RX8 knew he had a steep, uphill battle against Daigo Saito in the Achilles Lexus SC430. However, Denofa hit the wall in the rear zone and then tried to continue to pedal it. Unfortunately, he just crashed even harder into the wall and his day was done as the car was not repairable. Daigo Saito moves on to the Great 8. |

With so much talk about V8s, power, and the speeds at Vegas; the turbocharged cars in the Garrett Turbo V8 Hunters Cup have shown that the V8 advantage is no more! Essa was able to take out the Wilkerson Nissan after Walker half-spun on his lead run. |
