Speaking of Hondas, there was a slew of pristine Honda CRXs on display.
Not exactly falling into the classic category being a 1991, this CRX made up for it by being a beautifully restored legitimate RHD, B16 powered CRX from Japan.
Perhaps more appropriately fitting into the JCCS theme, was this AMC Gremlin… I mean Honda Z600. Check out the carbon fiber trim around the rear window. This was hands down the cleanest classic hondas at JCCS. Anyhow, let’s move onto something sexier.
Like this SR20DET swap in a beautifully restored 1969 Datsun 510. Never mind the oblivious knucklehead standing next to it.
With all the SR20DET swaps at JCCS, you would have thought that the Datsun 510 came factory with a 2.0L turbocharged engine.
And then there are all the KA24DE swaps…
And last but not least, the rotary swapped 510s.
