Regardless, all roads in the same place best described by the scribbling on the underside of this 510s hood stating “Dump money here.”
Perhaps just as swap happy were the Datsun truck owners as exemplified by this clean 1972 Datsun 620 pickup.
If I had my choice though, I’d ruin the purity of this classic Datsun 1600 Roadster with the likes of a RB26DETT.

Before I start scouring Classic Car Trader for a Datsun Roadster, let’s move onto some classic Toyotas like this 1968 2000GT with less than 5,000 miles on it. According to the owner, the last one that sold at auction went for just a tick over one million.
TMNT? Nope, it’s a Neil De La Cruz’s clean Toyota Starlet with a well built 20V 4AGE. OK, enough Toyotas, now on to the simply odd and eclectic.
Falling squarely into the category of strange and eclectic is this Subaru 360 van. It’s powered by a 326 cc, 2 cylinder, 2 stroke engine making 25 horsepower. With all that horsepower on tap, it can blitz the quarter mile in a hair under 29 seconds. GTR owners be forewarned. Most importantly, it maxes out at a capacity of 15 clowns according to warning decal on the side of this 360. Despite all my sarcastic remarks about how “fast” this Subaru 360 van is I really do appreciate its uniqueness.
Take a closer look and you’ll realize that there has been a lot of work put into this Subaru 360. None other than the “Sheet Metal Whisperer” himself, John Kuchta performed all the sheet metal artistry on the Subie’s rear end. There’s simply more “race” on the rear end of this thing than most of those sappy ass Hondas you’ll find on the street today.
