Japanventures: Part 1 – Sano Tochigi New Years Classic Car Meet

It's a mystery to me how this Lamborghini Diablo gets around on the streets in Japan.  Nevertheless, he decided to park next to the cutest little Mazda Carol.
A few Lotus Europa's graced the meet with their fully fiberglass bodies. “Simplify, then add lightness”
The Nissan Cedric V30 turbo, one of Nissan's top luxury models at the time, apparently debuted the world's first automatic windshield wiper system with rain sensor and intermittent mode (thrilling right?!)  next to a Toyota Cressida.
Mid 60s Honda S600 convertible.  I'm sure the panda colored car next to it needs no introduction.
For all you rotards, there was a plethora of 1st and 2nd gen RX-7s showing off their immaculate engine bays. Sorry rotary fans, I didn't take any parts off their cars since we all know US owners are JDM parts hoarders.
Any love for the Lovestep van?
A good amount of British car owners joined in on the meet.  It's always interesting to see American and European cars with Japanese plates.
