That’s a big, fancy camera hanging off the end of the rig. The rig uses race car parts too; check out the heim joint at the end of the boom.
Kia had this thing on snow treads. It would come in real handy right about now with all the snow Cali has been getting.
It’s still riding on what appears to be the stock strut suspension.
I have never checked out treads closely before, but check out these metal inserts. I’d imagine they cannot have been a lot of fun to install.
That’s a whole lot of rubber wheels, axles, and bearings that the treads ride over.As usual, the LA Auto Show had an interesting mix of cars and displays. Mazda showed off their first, really, new prototype in a long time. Lexus is finally going to back up some of that F-Sport line. BMW had some other go-fast vehicles. And, who wouldn’t want a TIE Fighter in their driveway?
