However, the X-wing was always my favorite.
Nissan had these full-size costumes in the booth. Not car related, but they were pretty cool.
Last year, Mercedes had a rougher, more conceptual, GTD car in the booth. This year, it’s the real deal race car.
That’s a massive opening in the body work behind the front tire. I’m not quite sure what those openings are behind the front tire covered in mesh. Some of that air might be to help pump cooling air around the exhaust, which is also covered in insulation.
The method for changing the wing height and angle is unique with the arc path. Of course, the wing supports are mounted to something more solid than the rear trunk lid, which would break if the wing was mounted to it.
