MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championship presented by Motul, Round 3 & 4, AutoClub Speedway

Martin did not get the same clean start and had to fend off a lot of Honda Challenge traffic as he made it through the field, causing him to fall behind.
In the end, Justin secured his first win of the season in Saturday's race by a good margin.  Being his favorite local track, it showed in his comfort and pace.
Saturday's Podium shot of the MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championship presented by Motul drivers.  Justin Taylor 1st, myself 2nd on the left, and Martin Gonzalez on the right.

The ARP Performance Products Podium for Saturday Round 3

1st place/Justin Taylor, Rockstar Garage S2000, $125 ARP Race Bucks awarded

2nd place/ Clint Boisdeau, MotoIQ Project Civic EF?, $75 ARP Race Bucks awarded

3rd place/ Martin Gonzales, MotoIQ Project G20? , $50 ARP Race Bucks awarded

Sunday brought a new day with and slightly warmer temperatures.  From studying my on board footage I reevaluated certain aspects of my driving and the car's setup to try and see if I could close the gap on Justin's pace.  Project G20 also had an ace up its sleeve with Steve Rockwood making a return to the MotoIQ Pacific Tuner Car Championship presented by Motul as driver for Sunday. With a significant increase in pace over Martin, qualifying was going to be good.

Project EF and Project G20 didnt need much wrenching over night, but all the drivers definitely needed some sleep. The night before both myself and Martin we're up late getting the car's ready for Saturday.  So being able to just arrive Sunday with the cars already unloaded and in the garage was a big help for getting proper rest.
I Made some minor sway bar and damper setting changes prior to warm up and practice on Sunday to help with handling balance as well as another round of tire rotation.  The Fortune Auto Pro 2-way coilovers have a ton of control making fine tuning easy and quick.
