Motovicity Ticket to Ride – Scion FR-S Build Part 2

,

Having ramped up the level of performance on the FR-S, it is now even more important to monitor its vital readings and the AQ-1 from AEM Electronics (part# 30-2500) will be able to log all this precious data. The AQ-1 has a lot of cool features in a compact case that is very easy to install. It can read live parameters from ancillary sensors, AEMnet enabled devices, GPS and more. After logging, the data can be put into a single log to make it easy to view. With its stand alone capability, it’s ideal for late model EFI-equipped vehicles and even older carbureted vehicles. What makes the AQ-1 even more attractive is that it is less than half the cost of most other data loggers on the market.
The AQ-1 Flying Lead Wiring Harness (part# 30-2906-96) has everything you need to properly wire up your AQ-1. The wires are color coded, pre-wired for AEMnet, and it includes a weather proof remote mount USB.
The team at SpeedForSale Motorsports plans to take full advantage of the capabilities of the AQ-1 and wired in a Garmin GPS unit. SpeedForSale Motorsports did an outstanding job installing all the AEM components in the TTR Scion FR-S.
AFRs will be continuously monitored by an AEM Wideband Failsafe gauge (part# 30-4900). The extremely awesome part about the Failsafe Gauge is its ability to trigger a warning grounded output. This means you can wire up an alarm, drop boost, or even switch maps on your ECU. SpeedForSale Motorsports added an additional O2 bung close to the stock location.
