Just before the mufflers is a very nice and smooth looking flow split. It looks like it flows pretty well for minimum restriction. |
The exhaust from the backside cylinder wraps around under the seat. It needs the length to be equal length with the pipe coming from the front cylinder. Notice the slip-joint with springs, race-type stuff right there. On the right, you can see the spring on the rod for the rear brake cylinder; this should provide good pressure resistance so as to help avoid just mashing the rear brake and locking up the rear. |
Ducati’s are known for the single-sided swing-arms. The super sticky beefy rear tire is a 200/55/17 Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP mounted on an Enkei wheel (you can see the Enkei label at the 9 o’clock position). |
The rear Brembo brake caliper is mounted down low on the underside of the swing-arm. Next to is the wheel speed sensor that reads off the toothed wheel. |
