tilton evo hypertune intercoolerThe intercooler core is a Hypertune unit and measures 101mm (4″) thick. It is a lightweight tube and fin type core with bellmouthed tube entries to improve flow through the core. The oil cooler is a PWR unit. Both cores were locally made in Australia.

tilton evo motec electronicsThe Tilton EVO uses a full suite of Motec electronics including an M800 ECU, E888 Expander Unit, MDC Center Differential Controller, PDM30 Power Distribution Module, and ADL3 Dash Logger. Mounted on the firewall above the Motec boxes is a Vipec CDI unit to drive the ignition coils with a short duration, high voltage (450 volts) spark. Next to the Motec boxes you can catch a glimpse of one of the air jacks too. Engine and dyno tuning is handled by Scott Kuhner at Insight Motorsports.

The Braille ML14C carbon fiber lithium ion battery weighs only 4.5 lbs, but still has somewhere around 900 cranking amps on tap. The wire appears to be small, but they are actually teflon jacketed mil-spec wires. They are smaller in diameter and lighter that their labelled gauge (e.g. look like 8 gauge, but equivalent to 4 gauge).

The Holinger remote shifter assembly has a strain gauge built into the shift lever. When the driver pulls the lever, the Motec ECU senses this via the strain gauge and reduces engine torque via fuel and/or ignition cuts allowing clutchless flat foot shifts. With the gear position sensor on the Holinger gearbox, the ECU could theoretically sense when the transmission is in the next gear and then reapply engine torque. If they are not using this strategy, then the engine cuts can also be timed (xx milliseconds). 
 
tilton interiors evo motec adl3 dashThe Motec ADL3 logger dash handles the datalogging duties for the car with its 250MB memory. The ADL3 logs a bunch of parameters by communicating with the M800 ECU, E888 Expander, MDC diff controller and PDM30 Power Distribution Module via CAN stream. The ADL3 can also accept additional analog and digital inputs also. The shift light right above the ADL3 is programmable too.
 
tilton interiors evo 9 Sparco steering wheelThe buttons on the wheel are probably to toggle between dash pages (e.g. pit lane, on track, times, temps, etc.), for the radio, and if I know these guys, that big red one is probably for a shot of extra boost on demand.
