The Top Fueler was in TMS Titanium's booth, which was showcasing some of its titanium components like this tranny housing.
Here’s a close up of the fuel li…I mean pipes…going from the tank to the pump, which are like 2-in each! These pumps flow over 100 gallons per minute. Do the math.
Actually, there’s a company here at PRI that makes these pumps, which we’ll come back to in a few pages with greater detail. These things are crazy.
As a Bimmerphile, I’m always drawn to BMW race cars, especially when that car is an E46 M3. I need a splitter like that for our Project E46 M3!
Here’s a shot of the E46 M3 racer’s interior. . This particular car was built by VAC Motorsports, but was in a different booth. Let’s go to VAC however.
This is VAC’s booth. Hey, there’s VAC founder and President, Tony Salloum, looking right at us. Let’s go talk to him.
VAC had some nice displays, including the S65 V8 4.0-liter M3 engine in front of us with a dry sump oiling system. To the left of the engine were VAC's 6-speed sequential gearboxes for Subaru, which I had no idea they carried.
Tony wanted us to know that, contrary to popular belief, VAC isn’t a parts supplier and reseller, but an actual fabrication shop. After hearing what his company’s got, and confirming with more pictures from their website, I concur—this place does a lot of cool stuff. Let's check some of it out…
