This simple venting helps keep the brakes cool.

Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shims are used under the brake pads. These titanium shims help prevent fluid boiling by keeping the braking heat from transferring into the caliper pistons and brake fluid. These shims are cheap protection from losing pedal pressure due to brake fluid boiling.

Techna-Fit Stainless Steel Brake Lines replaced the stock rubber parts. Constructed using an extruded teflon core with an outer stainless steel braided wire covering, Techna-Fit brake lines offer an advantage over OEM rubber lines by resisting swelling and expansion which can contribute to a soft brake pedal. With the use of chrome or zinc plated steel fittings that are permanently crimped on each end, these lines are D.O.T. certified and give additional protection over OEM lines which might be susceptible to failure due to debris.

5Zigen FNO1R-C wheels and Hankook R-S3 tires work well for the team.

The brake fluid was replaced with Amsoil Series 600 DOT 4 Synthetic Racing Brake fluid.  The Amsoil is rated at a dry boiling point of 580ºF and a wet boiling point of 410ºF. With the upgraded braking system, the Amsoil works perfectly without the need to bleed at each event.

Lightweight 17″x9″ 5Zigen FNO1R-C Wheels were selected for the PA car.  The wheels weigh approximately 19-20lbs and clear the factory Brembo calipers.  The wheels are fitted with 255/40-17″ Hankook R-S3 Tires. The Hankook R-S3 has built upon the success of the Ventus R-S2 with 3% extra width for greater traction. Dry grip is at the level of DOT hard compound race tire by using ultra fine particle carbon black. The Hankook tires are frighteningly good and have provided dry grip on flat turns in excess of 1.3-1.4 Gs! They also have worn extremely well and allowed the team to reuse the same tires over and over again without any appreciable loss in performance.Professionally Awesome- A look inside Professional Awesome's EVO VIII Street Class Time Attack Challenger

ARP Wheel Studs hold the wheels in place.
