Project 350Z – Finding More Power with MotorDyne Engineering

The plenum top is put in place next.

The plenum top is carefully torqued down in an X pattern to avoid warping the thin casting.

You can see the spacer in place.  Any thicker and we would not be able to run the factory strut tower brace.

Next the coolant line to the lower manifold plenum and throttle body is cut to install the shutoff valve.

We cut a short length of the hose off to make room for the valve.

We installed the valve with the provided clamps and turned it off.  The competing spacer certainly did not have this feature.
