Project C7 Corvette Stingray Z51: Drivetrain Improvements

The whole subframe, transaxle and torque tube are lowered out of the way.

We did this step very carefully. There are a lot of things to disconnect, and you should work slowly to avoid damaging anything. This would be a bitch to do without a lift for sure!

We left the transaxle and diff coolers in place and just removed them with the subframe.

Here is the whole enchilada out of the car.

Now the torque tube is removed from the transaxle.

At a casual glance, it is hard to tell the difference between the Chevrolet Performance part and the stock part.
