We then cleaned up the cuts on our apex grinder.
Now Howard cut a slit in the plastic panel that goes between the belly pan and the front cross member to pass the duct through.
Here we test fit the duct in place before it is installed.
Here is the duct in place. The duct has no attachment point on the top side, it’s outlet just rests against the steering rack motor.
Next, the duct is riveted into place on the lower panel to fix it in position.
We did a little more trimming to square up the edge of the opening for looks.
