Project Corvette Stingray C7 Z51: Keepin’ it Cool(er)

,

Here are the finished panel and duct riveted together before we put it back into the car.

Chevrolet recommends only using the duct on the track but we’re not exactly sure why.  Maybe it will get hung up on stuff or water can go up the duct and dirty up the engine bay?

Howard bolts the panel back in and out power steering cooling duct is done!

With cooling now improved for the engine coolant, the oil and the power steering, our car is another step closer to being track ready.  We are just on the lookout for some lightweight wheels and grippy tires and it will be back to the track to do an A to B comparison!
