Project GD STI: Getting More Power with Precision Turbo and Cobb Tuning! – Part 1

,

If you think of the header as if it were a musical instrument, you can see why the stock manifolds play a dissonant interval!
The header outlet is much larger than stock to match the larger in diameter up pipe and the turbine inlet.
We had to reconfigure the routing and make new longer oil lines to our Greddy oil cooler to prevent them from getting too close to our headers.
The CNC machined flanges help ensure a leak free seal and have minimal excess weight.  They also use the factory donut type seal.
The header and downpipe are in place and ready for the new turbo to drop on.
Howard lowers the Precision Turbo into position.
