Next ,we installed the Aeromotive Stealth Fuel pump. We started by opening the fuel pump access door in the floor of the car at the rear hatch area and by removing the fuel pressure and return lines and electrical connectors.
We began by taking out the fuel sending unit. The fuel pump is part of this assembly.
Here is the new Aeromotive Stealth pump next to the factory part.
The Stealth pump is pretty close to being a drop in unit but Howard had to do a few tweaks to get it mounted. Howard solders the wiring for the new pump into the unit.
Voila! Our big fuel pump is ready to go back into the car.
