Project Toyota Supra Mark IV: Part 13 – Nardi steering wheel plus more Stu Hagen and Speedhut gauges!

,

All of a sudden third gear was back to being all over the place, never hooking up. Fourth gear went by so fast it felt like second in our Project E46 M3.  I can’t wait to hit the dyno again.

Thanks to the little boost leak I fixed, what was registering a constant 23-25 PSI with our AEM Infinity wastegate setting is now seeing a consistent 27-29 PSI (depending on weather). We’ve tested 29 PSI in Part 10, and that’s when this car hit 817 WHP!

Powerful as this car is, we can still get our groceries in this car (illegally of course, because this car has parts that are not legal for street use), and in the rain. We say we “can”, but we’re pretty certain we have not. This is really just a shameless plug for Trader Joe’s (have you tried their gnocchi Sorrentina?).

We’ve got fall weather in the 70's here in the Midwest, which is perfect for boosted cars. Every time I get out of the house and into the garage and see this thing sitting here, it’s hard not to just want to jump in and go.

We're very excited with how our interior updates have come along, and soon it'll be time to update our exterior. In fact, we got word that our parts from overseas have passed customs just this week, just in time for the winter months, when the car will not be driven anyway. Stay tuned!
