The 12-point nuts are made using sophisticated automated threading equipment, tapping each nut with .001-in accuracy—five times better than the aerospace industry standard.

Little by little, our 2JZ-GTE is getting back together. We'll have a few other things to address before the motor actually returns to the engine bay.  If there are funds left, we may switch out the AEM 3-bolt cam gears for 5-bolt replacements, but until now these have been holding well.  We'll also make some cam adjustments on the dyno to further improve the curve, if possible.
