Next, the tire is masked off. For some reason, the primer does not stick to rubber and any residue just wipes off the tire.
Son hand mixes the base coat for each job and he has an excellent eye for color matching. He applies the base coat in very thin layers with an airbrush and blends the edges into the original paint by feathering it out.
