| Dieter Heinz Kijora driving the Evolution Racewerks BMW 135i also laid down an INSANELY fast lap time of (1:47.739) but it was just a tiny bit less insane than Rich Taylor’s performance. The Evolution Racewerks crew chiefs Fred Su and Kenny “the Caucasian F.O.B.” overcame some engine difficulties on Saturday and came back strong on race day. Both BMW’s proved that they were ultra fast on the oval and were both making the most of their Hankook RS3 rubber. |

| Josh Hershkoff in the Liquid Nitro/Tweeks Racing Lotus Elise was a bit underpowered for the high speed oval at Autoclub Speedway. Josh’s Lotus is still naturally aspirated but would need some more power to keep up at the high horsepower track. |
