The next pass is a partial as Hing reports that the shifting is getting balky again. We have a transmission temp warning and the GT-R is not happy.

8.79@167 mph. We try a few more times but the transmission and clutch are becoming less cooperative. The clutch is starting to slip and we are getting error codes. We call it a day. 24 hours later AMS beats our record with a scorching 8.63@172 mph with their 1600 hp Alpha Omega. Now plans are being made for more power to attempt to get the record back! AMS ran at about the high 1200 hp level as well, not using the Alpha Omega's full power potential. The race is on and where will it end?

Well it was good while it lasted. Up next are bigger turbos, stronger axles and turning the grip up some more as well. Stay tuned!
