No need to check the address bar, yes you are still on MotoIQ and no we have not changed formats. If you’re one of our many frequent visitors you’re used to our tech, features and event coverage to normally have an import slant to it, but every once in a while we have to step out of our comfort zone and try something new. Plus, it’s not everyday we’re offered a show quality car to drive around free of charge. Such was the case last week when the generous folks at Hurst Performance Vehicles handed us the keys to one of their 2010 Camaros to drive around in for a few days.
I’ll be honest, I’m a bit out of the loop when it comes to American muscle and its long roots so when we first got the call about the car I didn’t exactly jump out of my seat with excitement. Then we got the email with the pics and specs of the car - and I tell ya what - this was not your ordinary run of the mill Camaro, no sir. The Hurst Camaro not only starts off as a 2SS model which packs an LS3 powerplant, but it rides on upgraded suspension components, wide tires… and did I mention it’s supercharged! Suddenly my excitement level went from six to midnight.
