Aside from the paint and Hurst signature striping, the Airspeed rear spoiler is the only other addition to the body.

The exterior of the Camaro really does not leave much to be desired.  It’s aggressive, sleek, sexy and simply looks bad ass.  The folks at Hurst Performance Vehicles apparantley agree, because they do very little to the outside of the car.  They give their customers the choice of three colors; white, black and silver.  All three options come with the signature Hurst striping/badges and Airspeed rear spoiler.

The interior however gets a little more attention.  The first thing to grasp your attention is the gold anodized Hurst Hard-Drive pistol grip shifter.  Though at first the shifter seems a bit bulky and awkward, the precise shifts and feedback it provides quickly lets you forget.  The seats are wrapped in Katzkin’s graphite leather with gold stiching and embroidered Hurst logos.

Overall the Hurst Performance Vehicle’s Camaro was a grin generator.  Gobbs of power, great sound, sporty yet comfortable ride and powerful brakes.  The biggest complaints we had were its vague steering feel and and horrible field of vision – HUGE blind spots.  We didn’t get a chance, nor did we want to risk it, to take the car to the track but the suspension did more than perform its job when we asked it to on the street.  Upgrading all the rear bushings with urethane would definitely help inspire confidence under hard accelaration, as the rear tends to flex and dance a bit.

If attention is what you crave though, this is the car for you!  We could not come to a stop light without having people stop and stare.  We even got the thumbs up from a couple of cops on the freeway!

I’ve never had this many hands volunteer to work on my Sentra when I take it to the car wash…what the deuce!

Big thanks goes out to the folks at Hurst Performance Vehicles again for allowing us to drive their Camaro around and we look forward to future addtions to the Hurst Performance Vehicle line up.  if you have a Camaro with a LS3 and want a balanced performance machine without the hastle of wrenching or worry of subpar installations, go to Hurst Performance Vehicles and let them handle the dirty work.  For more information on Hurst Performance Vehicles, their offering and ordering info follow the link below.

We hope you’ve liked this small taste of MotoIQ domestic content, because there’s more on the way.  A GM product has made its way to the MotoIQ project garage, and we’re not talking about the LS3 we’re stuffing in the FD.  Stay tuned!
