S2000 BRAKE LINES AND BRAKE FLUID

IN CONCLUSION

I am quite happy with the quality of the lines, the ease of installation, and the peace of mind with the lifetime warranty.  I decided to choose red lines, not only to match the car aesthetically but also to make it easier to wipe down and indicate if they were clean or not.  We were able to test out the S2000 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park without any issues.  The new HEL stainless steel braided brake lines paired with Project Mu G-Four 335 brake fluid provide a firmer, more responsive brake feel, giving me more confidence lap after lap on the track.  If you’re looking to upgrade your S2000 brake lines or flush your brake fluid, I highly recommend checking out HEL brake lines and Project Mu brake fluid.

Check out our last article, where we fixed our suspension geometry as a result of lowering the height of our S2000.

  1. How does this green Project mu brake fluid get around the DOT regs that got ATE Super Blue pulled off the market in the US? Have they just not been handed an enforcement letter yet?

    1. It’s not a US brand and people selling in the US are importing it from Japan so I think it’s kind of just flying under the radar.
