More bars in the cage structure up top to protect grey matter. All of this is the handiwork of GSR Autosport of course. |

More and more bars in the cage structure to provide the all-important survival cell around the driver. There were definitely a few hard crashes last year in FD along with a car that ended up on its roof; the cage regulations have evolved in light of these crashes to mandate greater safety for the drivers. A Sparco seat and belts keeps Essa firmly in place during any possible unintended collisions. |

A DTM Fiberwerkz body kit covers the pushed-out tires. The vented hood aids in cooling. |
That’s it for the sneak peek at Essa’s E46. We should see the fully built car at Long Beach soon. I can’t wait to see what this new twin-scroll GTX3582R setup can do. It’ll also be interesting to see how quickly Essa can adapt to a new chassis, new suspension and new tire setup. That’s a whole lotta ‘new’ to get up to speed on! While I was at GSR Autosport, I snapped some pictures of other awesomeness on the premises.
