Sneak Peek: Team R-Colt Time Attack Mitsubishi Ralliart Colt

,

Pretty much all the interior panels are still in place. Only a harness bar was installed.
Going fast on track requires information. To that end, a Race Technology DL1 was installed to handle data logging duties.
Part of the reason the dash looks so clean is due to the Race Technology Dash 4 display mounted in the center console.
A good ol’ Autometer boost gauge and Innovate wideband gauge are mounted on the A-pillar.
An Adaptronic 440 ECU is used to control the engine now running on E85.
What do the EFR 6258, Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump, and Turbosmart FPR800 fuel pressure regulator help the engine produce? A stout 285kW of power (just over 380hp) on the rollers where the stock engine was rated at 113kW at the crank.

A famous space smuggler from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away once said, “she may not look like much but she’s got it where it counts.” With a better power to weight ratio than the mighty Nissan GT-R, the Team R-Colt Ralliart Colt definitely has the goods under the hood. It puts more rubber on the ground than an Evo while weighing 25% less. The Time Attack Ralliart Colt proves even a more modest street car can be made into a riot of a good time race car.
