Tested! NGK’s New BMW 335i Coils and Bosch Plugs

,

When the parts come from Sparkplugs.com, they’re individually packaged as such.

The NGK coils also have their own sealed packaging.

Unlike with a factory coil, each NGK coil comes with a metal barrier, which probably serves as a little insulation from the cylinder head’s heat. You'll notice another one of these metal pieces inside the sparkplug galley.

The factory Bosch plugs are four-pronged, and don’t require any gapping. They run about $15 each from Sparkplugs.com.

If you need gloves, Sparkplugs.com has a nice set of mechanics gloves, too, which are especially ideal for heavy-duty automotive jobs.

  1. Awesome writeup, test, results and all. Installing the same setup in a stage 1 Revo Audi B7, tomorrow in fact, so yeah this is an exciting read.
