It is that time of the year for MotoIQ to host another PromAm drift series through The Drift League (TDL). The Drift League started in 2018, and this will officially be their third year in a row. The series consists of four single-day rounds held at Irwindale Speedway, also known as the House of Drift. Each round will consist of practices time, qualifying, and Top 16, and the rules are set based on the current Formula Drift standards. At the end of the session, the top three drivers overall will earn their Formula Drift Pro2 license for the next year, 2021

This year, there is a cash bonus for the top three drivers for Round One. First place wins $1,500, second place wins $1,000, and third place wins $500. Round one of The Drift League, presented by BC Racing, Milestar Tires, and MotoIQ, took place on March 07, 2020 with a total of 20 drivers. Drivers were lined up at 7:00 AM for tech inspections and must pass tech before entering the track. MotoIQ hosted an official Tech Day at the MotoIQ HQ a few weeks before The Drift League Round One. This way, drivers can determine what needed fixing before coming into Round One.
