  1. Funny thing – KA24, E or DE, are one of the class standbys in SCCA GT-3 still. Going by in-car, they’re stretching a smidge over 8k RPM but not sure what lifespan is like doing that. I think around 260-280 at the flywheel these days, NA, through a restrictor.

      1. Still seems like it must be cheaper than trying to get a 4AG up to those power levels; the performance levels of the class have shifted upwards over the last decade or two.

  2. Hi Mike! I’m beginning to piece together a turbo kit for my ka24de. The engine was recently refreshed with stock internals and hope to get around 300 to the crank. I am planning to go the route of the Tomei M7960 bolt on kit. I was wondering if you had any experience with or know much about the kit? Thank you for your time and I hope to hear back soon.

    Best regards,

    Matt

    1. I’m on the same boat, I too would like to know if MotoIQ would be able to rebuild my KA to accommodate the Tomei Arms M7960 turbo kit. Looking forward to MotoIQ reply 👍🏽

  3. I guess I stumbled across this because I just got a 04 Nis Frontier and it has a 4cycl with M/T…. It’s got 300k miles lol…. Do I have a ka24de ? Online everything looks the same as far as compression ratio and h/p#s and besides air intake……. Just really want to know … Plz… Thanks .
