Xtreme Drift Circuit: Texas

If you've followed my coverage of past drift events, you know I'm the Queen of Carnage shots.  Chances are if someone has gone off track, I caught it like a hooker to the clap. Texas Motor Speedway was no different and there were times I thought XDC stood for Xtreme Dirt Competition judging by the number of cars scooping up rocks and dirt like front end loaders!

Dipping a tire off at turn 2 usually ended up in a shower of dirt and crushed egos.

This turn collected quite a few cars.  High heat = sweaty asphalt = off road adventure!

It's Texan versus Texan as locals Fielding Shredder mowed the lawn with his S14 during his tandem run with Kyle Gille in the black LS1 powered Nissan S13.

Bad car, no donut!  Jim Guthrie inspects the damage. That's one angle you don't want to see in drifting!

Sarah Burgess qualified for tandems for the first time during Friday's West Coast finale in her Ignite Racing Fuel Ford Mustang.

Many cars paved themselves a shortcut…
