64 Corvette: 2015 Edition!

,

Sitting in front of a range of Corvette's and Camaro's, the C2 is still the one that attracts my full attention! One client who stopped in, while I was taking photo's, commented that driving in to the shop's parking lot was like coming to a free car show. There are seriously that many cool cars present.
Finalizing the location of the exhaust cutout switch, ensuring that the sound system is functioning as it should, and then Gavin (left) and Dave did a final detail and interior vacuum. In fact, the entire staff was involved in the final clean up and preparation for presentation.
The car is up on the hoist to allow the owner's one more look at the suspension and braking system. It also provided me an opportunity to get a good shot of the side pipes, now completed with the skirting and AVI Corvette side pipe covers.
Rob (left) and Gail chatting with Mike (right), a friend and C5 Corvette owner who joined them for the inaugeral start up. The rumble of the LS3 with the open cutouts is incredible.
Manny (left) showing Rob and Gail the interior of the C2, with a few upgrades over the original version. Rob is checking out the passenger seat, as Gail has claimed the driver's seat.
Rob and Gail refer to this as phase one. When they bought the car just over a year ago it hadn't been on the road for a couple of years. The 327 was tired and the drum brakes and suspension were literally not safe at highway speed. The decision to do a resto-mod wasn't easy, but they are incredibly pleased with the results. Phase Two – well, for that you're going to have to wait and see. Right now they're smiling as they enjoy this '2015 Edition' C2 Corvette.
